3rd FanTR Mining Workshop – Sharing Experiences

On the 9th, 10th, and 11th of August, the 3rd FanTR Mining Workshop – Compartilhando Experiências (Sharing Experiences) took place, which was held at the Royal Palm Tower Indaiatuba Hotel. The event provided a space for leading underground mining ventilation professionals to share an overview of how mining companies deal with problems common to underground ventilation and the solutions adopted.

The first day of the event had a lecture by Emerson Sanches, Mechanical Engineer Specialist in Maintenance and Reliability applied to rotating equipment, and then a virtual lecture given by Brian Prosser, main Ventilation Consultant since 2016 at SRK Consulting (US), a leading company international mining consultancy.

There was also the LAUNCH of the new line of HIGH-PRESSURE FANS for underground ventilation, presented by Ricardo Costa and Vitor Vieira. After lunch, everyone got to know the fan and see it in operation, as well as a guided tour of the Factory.

On the second day of the event, we started with the presentation of Arilto Alves, a specialist in the area of Underground Mine Ventilation and Associate Consultant of BBE Consulting, followed by presentations by the largest mining companies in Brazil:

In the afternoon, a PANEL was organized between all the speakers, in which they had the opportunity to interact with the public and also with each other, an occasion that allowed them to exchange experiences, and share problems and solutions.
