Tunnel Safety in Brazil: Meeting Strict Standards (Part 2)

In this video, presented by Ricardo Costa, R&D Coordinator, we present a recent case study from FanTR, which received a request for a quotation for an emergency fan with challenging specifications: to operate for 2 hours at 400ºC while maintaining noise levels at a maximum of 70 dB on the A-scale, measured at a distance of 10 meters at a 45-degree angle from the equipment's outlet. To meet these requirements, we developed unique aerodynamic solutions and improved the fan's noise absorption. FanTR extended the noise attenuator on both sides of the rotor and utilized non-flammable sound-absorbing materials to enhance absorption at higher frequencies. With these innovations, FanTR stands out as the only company in Brazil currently capable of fully meeting these project requirements, perfectly aligned with the country’s current needs.
