FanTR provides ventilation systems for Nexa Resources Brasil’s Morro Agudo mine.

In May, FanTR finished 2 Complete Ventilation Systems for Nexa Resources Brasil. They were installed in the Morro Agudo Unit, located in Paracatu, Minas Gerais, and consist of an underground mine and an open-pit mine that produce zinc and lead.

The new systems were fully designed and manufactured by FanTR with a capacity of 150 m³/s and 3000Pa, and were responsible for increasing the exhaust capacity of the main system used in the underground mine. Each system consists of two 400-HP exhaust hoods, sound attenuators, curve and derivation, recovery cone and vertical output.

In a time of pandemic, FanTR adjusted its entire production activity to provide a safe environment for employees and contractors, and it continues to grow and expand.
